The line graph showa the population growth in China, India, and the United States from 1950 to 2000
The line chart demonstrates the population development in China, India, and the United States over a course of 50 years, starting from 1950.
As can be seen from the chart, it is clearly evident that the population growth in all three countries had witnessed an upward tendency. The most dramatic increase was seen in China and India.
To specify, starting at the point of nearly 600 millions in China and approximately 400 millions in India, the population has dramatically climbed to more than 1200 and slightly over 1000 millions in these two countries in 2000. However, there was a small difference between these two countries. If India had a stable growth, there was some minor fluctuations in China. The population of China experienced stable increase from 1950 to 1960 before there was a marginally decrease within 5 years later. In the rest of the period, it went up sharply, reached a peak more than 1200 millions in 2002.
By comparison, there was also a steady growth but the United States’s resident raise very little. It gradually grew up, only fluctuated around 200 millions for 50 years.
