The table depicts the percentage of expenditure on three types of spending by five distinction nationalities in 2002.

It is clear that all citizens in five countries spent most of their money on Food/Drinks/Tobacco while Leisure/Education accounted for the least.

In Ireland, people spent over a quarter of their money on Food/Drinks/Tobacco while only 6.43% for Clothing/Footwear and 2.21% for Leisure/Education. In contrast with Italy, the percentage of expense on Clothing/Footwear and Leisure/Education in Spain were lower which were at 6.51% and 1.98% respectively. 18.8% was the proportion of spending on Food/Drinks/Tobacco of Spain which was nearly 2% higher than that of Italy.

Turkey can be seen as the country spending highest data on Food/Drinks/Tobacco at 32.14% which was approximately twofold than that of Sweden. People in Turkey consumed 6.63% of their money on Clothing/Footwear and 4.35% on Leisure/Education. The expenditure for Sweden on two other categories were 5.4% and 4.35% respectively.
