There are two charts: The first one shows the energy consumption in an average household in Australia and the second one illustrates the greenhouse gas emitted from the use of electricity.
Overall, we can see that the vast amount of energy is consumed for heating both the home and water, while the most greenhouse gas emission took place from water heating and other appliances.
For power utilization, warming the home takes up nearly half of the total, while water heating consumed just below the third. Other appliances made use of 15% of the energy and air conditioning, cooling and lighting made over tenth by combining the total.
In contrast, the green house gas emitted nearly third of the total from heating water and 15% is because of warming houses. The significant difference between two pie charts is ‘other appliances’ which produces over the quarter. The remaining three together causes exactly quarter of the total gas emission.
