The figure for people visiting the UK commenced at just above 600 in january 2004, falling by 200 in the next three-month. In June, almost 700 people travelled to Britain, and the figure slightly changed in September before it rose to about 800 at the end of the year. In contrast, from January to september 2005, the number of people touring to the united kingdom was lower compared to that of the previous year, and the highest number of britain’s tourist in 2005 was in December (just below 800).
In the meantime, the top 3 of Britain’s visitor origin countries stable, except for Japan dropping to second-place in 2005 with the -3% change in the tourist number. Also, by an increase of 13% in the figure of citizens visiting the UK, India entered the top 5 in 2005.
