Overall, it clear that the number of overseas visitors in the uk was higher in 2004 and it hit the peaks at the end of the year. In the meantime, there was no substantial change on the top 5 list of the tourists' origin countries, except for india entered the list in 2005.
The number of overseas tourists travelling to the UK in 2004 saw a fluctuation. It commenced at around 600 thousand in January, falling by 200 thousand in March and rising to about 640 thousand in June. After this, there was a slight change on the figure in september and the international visitor number reached a season peak in December (more than 800 thousand). In the first six months of 2005, there was a stable trend in the quantity of international visitors to Britain at around 600 and the figure went down by half in september before finishing the period just below 800.
In the meantime, the top 3 list of Britain’s visitor countries unchanged, except for Japan dropping to second-place in 2005. India and South Korea were experienced a positive change, the former increased by 15% and the latter was 7%.
