You are applying for a job and need a letter of reference.
Write a letter to a former teacher. In your letter:
- give details about the job
- why it is important to you
- suggest what information your teacher could put in the reference
Dear Sir/Madam
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter to ask a favor from you. I am in the last semester of my degree of Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology.
This is the peak time for applying for job have been applying in most of the fertilizer industries, as they are my interest area and my final year project was also from a fertilizer industry that will add to my curriculum vitae. There are openings in many companies for fresh graduates under the program of graduate trainee engineers; which is a very good initiative by the government that restricts all companies to induct new engineers providing them with a good chance to gain practical experience.
As you know about my passion for chemical engineering and practical knowledge, you will understand the importance of getting a job for me. This is also important to me as I want to do Masters of chemical Engineering and want to do so on my own expense.
Most of the job applications require a reference letter from a teacher or a trainer. I will be really grateful to you if you can write a reference letter for me explaining my character traits and strengths along with my passion for chemical engineering. You may refer to the Science Research project I did with you and write about my dedication and hard work.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Yours sincerely,
Aqsa Afzal
