Online education or interactive education is the best?
We are living in an age when Industry 4.0 has changed our life dramatically into the world of revolution and automation. This is the reason that many people opine that online education can bring many benefits to students while others believe interactive education is still the best way. This essay will discuss the merits and demerits of both approaches of education these days.
To begin with, there are some advantages in attending in an online class. First and foremost, virtual class creates the opportunity for students to have freedom to take lessons instead of being present themselves physically in the lecture room. For example, they can learn lessons provided in anytime and anywhere just by a computer that have connected to the Internet. Secondly, online education takes an integral role in reducing costs for all schools. Due to the fact that there is a huge amount of money that have been spent on improving, upgrading or buying new facilities annually, this approach helps them reduce these costs since the campus is not used more.
On the other hands, there is no denying that face-to-face teaching also has many benefits for learners. Firstly, the traditional approach is more effective than the new one. For detailed, having directly interaction with teacher give students a chance to efficiently understand the lessons or receive acute feedbacks, which makes sure that they realize their confused mistakes and correct themselves. Secondly, for the learners, it provides motivation for those who are lazy or not self-awareness. For example, online education can’t be sure that indolent students taking the virtual class are listening carefully what teacher have given during tutorials or whether they could be able to get good grades without any supervisors.
In conclusion, both online education and interactive education have its own merits and demerits on the way how effective they are to help students learn better. However, it goes without saying that schools should choose the proper approach for the development of their students instead for any unessential other reasons.
