Your friend from overseas is coming to visit you next month. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,
Tell them what they need to bring
Tell them what they will be doing during the time they are visiting
Warn them about some things that might be challenging.
Dear Emily,
How are you?
It’s such a lovely surprise to receive your email, and I’m extremely glad to hear that finally you and Matt got some time to make a visit to India next month.
I would rather love to make your stay at my country a memorable one. Although sky remains clear in the month of March, make sure to carry some warm clothes and rain jacket because sometimes it gets cold due to sudden rains.
There’re plenty of activities to keep you busy during your trip. As both of you’ve a keen interest to know more about the history and culture of India; therefore, I’ve made a list of some popular arts galleries and museums which you must visit to get better insight of our cultural values and traditions. Also, there are some famous wild life sanctuaries near to the place where I live which might fascinate you.
Unfortunately, I’ll be very busy with my office work next month, so I might not be able to accompany you on weekdays. I am worried that it would be difficult for you to understand the vernacular language; therefore, I would suggest looking for a tourist guide who can help you to understand the local language.
I’m eagerly waiting to see you soon.
Best wishes,
Vikas
