You have recently moved to a different house. Write a letter to an English speaking friend. In your letter:
Explain why you have moved
Describe the new house
Invite your friend to come and visit.
Dear Emily,
How are you?
It’s been a long time since we saw each other last, and I hope you’re doing fine in this time span. By the way, I shifted to a new home and thought to update you on the same. As you know, I was unhappy with my current job and was looking for a job with a higher pay package; fortunately, I’ve got a chance to work in a multinational company which is offering me a decent remuneration. Since my new job is in another city, I had to move to a new home in this city.
I’m excited to tell you that this apartment has three bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen and is more spacious than my previous home. As it is newly built, infrastructure is completely modern. There is a private garden in the backyard where I like to sit and relax after a long working day at work.
I think you must come here to spend a weekend at my new flat. We can sit together and cherish the old memories of our college days.
I’m eagerly waiting to hear from you soon.
Best wishes,
Ruchi
