Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Overall, the widespread use of the internet has a mostly positive effect on life in today’s world.
The Internet plays a vital role in our daily life. Nowadays, the internet is widely spreaded in all fields to complete daily activities, to save or find new information. The widespread use of the internet has mostly positive effects on life in today’s world only in small instances. Actually it has major negative effects which are more important to understand. There are following reasons to strengthen my view.
Firstly, the internet boasts curiosity in youth with lots of information provided by different websites. We are spending lots of time on the internet and trying to find happiness in the virtual world. The internet reduced social distance between two closed ones living apart but actually it has created long distance among family members. According to research in India 10% adolescents are addicted and having strong mental difficulties symptoms.
Secondly, the internet gives us a large space to save our images, documents and videos. Not only do men use the internet for securing information, large organizations and countries also hide their data on clouds. The experts of internet users gather the information and miss use it which is another negative effect of the internet. The simplest application of our mobile can share location and other bank details to antisocial people.
Thirdly, to switch on or off any electronic device is so easy, only on one commend internet do our work. There is no need to move from seat to operate any device. It is really appreciable but it reduces our physical strength and makes us lethargic. People engage in the internet and kill their time instead of doing physical exercises or activity. They saw lots of different videos to reduce weight but at the same time different types of interesting stuff engaged their eyes and people forgot to exercise.
Finally, the negative effects are not clearly visible as disastrous. That's the reason maximum people think the internet has a mostly positive effect but aforementioned reasons show the negative effects are more crucial and alarming.
