You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to study/work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter:
describe the situation
explain your problems and why it is difficult to study/work
say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
I am writing concerning the complications I have been facing with accommodation arrangements at college.
Actually I was allotted room number 208 at the college hostel, where I live with one another student. Although accommodation itself is good, my roommate has been causing some issues since the day one. His nature is very aggressive, making it difficult for me to live with him. Besides, he does not cooperate at all with me.
I would like to explain the problems that I have to face while living with him. Firstly, I find it really tough to concentrate fully on my studies as he often plays music loudly. Even though I requested him many times, he keeps on doing the same thing repeatedly. Moreover, he usually brings his friends to room and do party till late night, which has led me to write you about my study concerns.
I would prefer rather living with someone of quite nature and most significantly who want to focus only on studies. I appreciate if you could transfer me with someone else of this kind of student or shift my current mate to somewhere else.I would be obliged if my request is catered to priority.
Looking forward to your outright response on this matter.
Yours faithfully,
John Sham
