The given pie charts reveal the change in the average proportions of three different types of nutrients namely sodium, saturated fat and added sugar in typical meals in USA, all of which has negative effects for health if consumed too much.
Overall, it crystal clear that the figure for dinner meal of sodium and saturated fat are the highest points, this opposite was true for the percentage of breakfast of all meals.
Following sodium and saturated fat, there are the largest percent of consumed dinner, stood at 43% and 37% respectively, followed by the figure for lunch meal. The pie chart of sodium has the same level between snacks and breakfast, was 14%. While the percentage of lunch has more 3 times than the proportion of snacks of sodium, in saturated fat, these figures are nearly the same point, with 26% of lunch and 21% of snacks.
It can be seen in Added sugar that, the proportion of snacks witnesses the biggest percent to nearly a half, stood at 42%. The amount of breakfast meal is the same percent, compared with the figure for breakfast in saturated fat, at 16%.
