The pie chart illustrates the percentage of workforce in Australia of difference groups while the line graph shows the proportion of unemployment in Australia of different groups between 1996 and 2003.
Overall, it can be seen that the percentage of workforce an Australian by birth was the highest whereas the unemployment rate was also the highest in Australian workforce.
According to the pie chart,the majority of workforce was an Australian by bath.In fact, over three quarters of workforce was Australian by birth.On the other hand, very less percentage 14% of workforce was non-english speaking people compared to the Australian workforce.Only 10% of workforce were non Australian who speak English.
The percentage of unemployment who were Australian by birth decreased dramatically from around 9 % to 4% between 1996 and 2003, a fall of 5% in 7 years. However,the similar pattern followed by Non Australian English speaking and Non-English speaking over the seven-year period.The unemployment of non Australian English speaking also decreased from 6 % to under 4% from 1996 to 2003 while Non English speaking fall 4% to about 1% in same period.These 3 group of unemployment was increased between 1998 and 1999.
