The diagram shows the production of hydroelectricity

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagram illustrated the process involved in generating electricity from the flow of water. It also shows how power is transferred.

An overview of the process would be to trap water until large quantity is collected. The water will then be released to generate electricity.

Firstly, water is collected from rivers and melting of ice behind huge walls constructed particularly for this purpose. Following which, the water is allowed to collect to the extent energy can be trapped from it's flow or until water is required. Intake gated, which prevents the water from flowing un-necessarily is open when required, upon which water gains momentum and reaches the turbines through Penstock.

Secondly, the turbine spins as a result of movement of water and electricity is harvested from the generator which is intact with the spinning turbine. Numerous wires transfer the power from the Powerhouse, where the generator is located. There are pillars to transfer the long distance power lines. Lastly the water that exits the turbine reaches the river.
