Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the UK had the least percentage of the old people, while Germany topped the list in this context. However, a significant rise in the aged population is envisaged in all three countries by the end of the period.
According to the given illustration, Canada, and Germany witnessed a marginal uptick in the percentage of the senior population in the early years. Whilst the former followed an upward trend with a 4.35% change to 20.67 in 2000, a nearly 5% spike uplifted the proportional rate to 25.32% in the latter country. However, the UK observed a slight push of just 0.66% as against 14.23% in the starting year.
As per the predictions, Canada is expected to have 5.68% more aged people as they were in 2000. Also, the UK will climb to 20.35% of the senior population, compared to Germany who is targeted to be at the highest position of 30.42% by the period end.
