You have lost your student identification card. This has created some problems
for you.
Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter
-advising them of your situation.
-explain how this is affecting you.
-request a new card.
Dear Mr.Johnson,
I am a final year student from the Computer Science department. I am writing this letter to make a request to issue a new Identification Card for me as I have lost my ID-card.
Last week, when I was travelling back to my home from the College by Train, Due to peak hours, the train was over-crowded. When I arrived at my home, I noticed that my wallet in which I had some money and a college ID-card was not with me. I tried hard to find my wallet and student identification card. However, all my efforts were obsolete.
I am worried because my mid-semester examination will start in just a few weeks. It is obligatory for the students to have a student identification card to appear in the exam. As you can see, I will not be able to appear in the exam. Therefore, I would like to make a request for a new ID-card. It would be highly appreciated if you could manage to provide a new Card this weekend.
Thank you for giving the matter your attention. I look forward to a prompt response at the earliest convenience.
Yours sincerely,
Krishna Parmar
