The given three pie charts depict the data about the production and consumption of coffee worldwide and give information about the distribution of its profits in different sectors.
Overall, South Africa is the largest producer of coffee, while Europe is the largest consumer. It is also evident that most of the profit goes to the delivery sector.
South Africa produces 44% of the world coffee, the largest, while its coffee consumption is marginal. The second largest contributor to the world's coffee production is Indonesia, which stands at 22%. The percentage of Coffee production in Vietnam and Japan are close to each other. Its figures stand at 16% and 18%, respectively.
Europe and America consume a substantial percentage(80%) of world coffee production with individual figures 41% and 39%, respectively. By contrast, Japan coffee import percentage is a mere 8%, while the rest of the world consumes 12% of the world coffee production.
It is interesting to note that the delivery sector takes more than half of the profit while retailers, exporters, and producers get 24%, 10%, and 15%, respectively.
