The diagram below describes how storm water is recycled in an Australian city.
The diagram illustrates the equipment and materials used in the recycling process of storm water in an Australian nation.
In overall, there are 5 main stages in the artificial manufacture, starting with the collection of rain water in a small factory and ending up with the finished source of recycling water .
The process commences when rain water is collected and then stored in a small factory which is put above the drains. After being preserved for a short period of time, collected water is transferred into the recycling plant. At this stage, storm water is treated in 4 main steps to eradicate unnecessary stuffs. While the first and the second steps are for removing plastic, garbage and tiny particles, the remaining steps are for wiping out bacteria and salt.
The following step involves putting 4mg/l of chlorines into the treated water. Then, one machine is responsible for the preservation of the mixture. The final step emerges when water is delivered to another storeroom in sunny days. It is preserved for the later use of humans.
