Tpo 52 Task 1 colonies
The reading and the lecture are both about creating humans societies in the Moon or other close planets to Earth. The author of the passage feels that there are several good points for this opinion while, the lecturer disputes the claims made in the excerpt. His position is opposite to that of the author of the reading.
First, according to the reading in the asteroids are less gravity in compare with other planets and it is worth for creating colonies. This fact is challenged by the lecturer. He claims that the phenomena lower gravity make many problems on the human health such as decrease bone density and also muscle mass.
Secondly, the author suggests that humans can bring a lot of suitable metals from asteroids. In the passage, it is said that this issue leads to increase the money for the people. The lecturer, however, asserts that there is not any guarantee for this matter.
Finally, the author posits that the colonies could be a good sponsor for supply raw materials. The author contends that it due from easily there and back tripe to other planets. In contrast, the lecturer's stance is this type of the trip is too expensive and it is not affordable.
