Dear Mr. John,
I am writing this letter to report an incident I experienced last week Tuesday on the 965 train which traumatized me.
My name is Lilian and I am one of your frequent customers. I stay in Boston and have been using your train services for about 10 years now.
On Tuesday, last week, while travelling to Boston from New York in bus 965, I observed that more than 135 persons were sold tickets to board the train, forcing 6 people to use a seat and a few left standing. Not only this, the driver allowed people into the bus without a face shield or a face mask, endangering the lives of commuters by exposing them to the risks of the Pandemic. Besides, these actions defile the Covid guidelines and regulations.
I am so worried about this situation because about 2-3 people were coughing and sneezing on the bus and after my travelling, I have been feeling symptoms of cough, cold, and fever. These are symptoms of Covid and I fear for the safety of my family since it is highly contagious. This has disturbed me a lot.
Going forward, to prevent this situation from recurring, I simply suggest that all your staff be thoroughly briefed on the Covid guidelines and regulations. Also, they should be made aware of the risks that are associated with the pandemic, how to ensure that all passengers wear their face masks and maintain social distance. I will be grateful if this is achieved.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Warm regards,
Lilian.
