The table below gives information about the problems faced by children in two primary schools in 2005 and 2015.
The table indicates diverse troubles that children mostly encounter in primary school between 2005 and 2015.
Overall, it is clear that in 2005 and 2015 school A encountered more problems compared to School B, however, in 2015 school A had faced fewer problems than in 2005. By contrast, it is interesting to note that school B percentage remained relatively similar in 2015 as well.
Looking at the table in more detail, we can see that following instruction in school A was a major problem, accounting for 42%, compared to school B, which was only 6% in 2005. At the same time, a similar trend was seen in other areas, for example, in reading, handwriting and spelling for school A stood at 22%, 28%, and 30%, compared to 8, 9 and 5 percent respectively. Moreover, listening skills, verbal expression of ideas, and concentration in lessons in School A accounted for approximately 3 times more problems compared to School B in 2005.
Moving to the year 2015, School A and B almost had a similar number of problems in reading ability and handwriting compared to 2005, but in the rest of the areas, the problems had been declined for school A. The major difference for school B was seen in the field of concentration in lessons and following instructions 18 % each. However, following instructions rose to 12 % compared to 6% in 2005.
