The bar chart illustrates the generation and the use of electricity in 2014 in 10 nations.
Overall, It is clear that the consumption and the generation were highest in China and United States. While the use of electricity was lower than the production in most of countries, Germany saw a higher figure in the consumption than that in the generation.
China was the country that generated 5,398 billion kWh and used 5,322 billion kWh. US took the second place with 4,099 kWh of electronic energy produced and 3,866 billion kWh of electricity utilized. There are equal numbers in term of the consumption and the generation in Russia, at 1,057 and 1,038 billion kWh, respective. Japan consumed 856.7 billion kWh and produced 936.2 billion kWh following by those of India, at 871 and 698.8 billion kWh, respective.
The last five countries saw lower numbers in consumption and production of the electricity including Canada, France, Brazil, Gemany and Korea. In contrast to the last four nations, Gemany witnessed a different trend between the consumption and the generation of electronic energy, with 536.7 billion kWh in term of production and 582,5 billion kWh in term of utilizing.
