The table shows the cost of water in 5 cities in Australia
The table illustrates the information on the expense of water in 5 different cities, namely Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Overall, the cost of water when used more than 125 KL is the highest in Perth, which is also where an average household must pay the most expensive bill. However, if less than 125KL of water is used, Sydney charges the highest amount of money.
According to the chart, regardless of how much water is used, a Sydney resident is charged $0.98 for each kiloliter and a Melbourne resident is charged $0.78. As for Adelaide and Perth, people living here pay the exact same water cost of 0.42 dollar for every kiloliter for up to 125KL, lower than that of Melbourne’s by $0.36.
It can also be seen that as the total amount of water used gets over 125kl, Perth residents are charged with the highest cost, which is $1.50 for every kiloliter, while those living in Adelaide are charged with the second-highest one, at $1.00 a kiloliter. On average, a house hold in Perth also pays the most expensive water bill that is $332, in comparison to the $253 and $310 bills which are paid by a house hold in Melbourne and Brisbane.
