Unemployment figures amongst women
The graph shows the percentages of unemployed women in eight age groups. It can be clearly seen that, the age groups of 18 and 45 have the highest unemployment rates.
According to the graph, among the age groups of 18, 20, 25, 30, and 35 the highest unemployment figures is recorded among the youngest women (15 percent). Women among the age group of 20 have much lower figures where they drop to 10 percent, and those drop even more to 5 percent in the age groups 25 and 35 years old women. There is a slight increase among 30 years old women where the unemployment rates reaches 6 percent.
The peak value is recorded among the women of 45 years old where the unemployment rate reaches 20 percent, and all the remaining have much lower figures: 8 percent for 55 and 9 percent for 65 years old women.
To sum up, the percentage of unemployed women shows uniform figures, changing from 5 to 9 percent, with rare exception such as the age groups 18 and 45.
