Looking at all overall perspective, it is readily apparent that television was the most popular product owned by people. While the less owned household appliances were video and dishwasher that had been introduced to the British families later in 1983 and 1978 respectively.
Having a glimpse at the illustration reveals that 93 percents of televisions were owned by British people and continued to rise and received 98 percents in 1983. Central heating and telephone started from less than 45 percents and reached 76 percents and 60 percents respectively. The majority of British citizens had vacuum cleaner and refrigerator more than 90percents that rose from 87 percents to 95 percents and 73 percents to 93 percents respectively.
Shifting to remaining data, the percentage of washing machine increased by 14 percents from 1972 to 1983. Only 5 percents dishwasher was bought by people. In addition to it, the British masses showed not much interest in purchasing the video.
