The two provided plans illustrate the renovation that has taken place in the student common room over 5 years.
Overall, the room has undergone a dramatic change over the mentioned period of time.
As shown in the second diagram, two round tables have been removed and somehow relocated to make way for a big rectangular one right to the left of the entrance. The empty spaces right next to the table nearest to the entrance and at the bottom right corner of the room have been filled up with a bench for laptops and a set of arm chair and television respectively. There is also a drink machine added to the gap between the TV set and refrigerator.
However, there hasn’t been any significant changes to the row of kitchen facilities at the upper side of the room. The only difference observed is the removal of one of the benches to make way for another microwave; the rest of those facilities still remains unchanged.
