The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billion) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.
The chart illustrates the information about the duration of telephone calls on different three categories in the UK over a period of 8 years. In general, it can clearly be seen that local-fixed line ad mobiles had the highest and the lowest rate, respectively at the same time.
To being, it is immediately apparent that local-fixed line was the most popular telephone calls in comparison to the other two categories. This stood over 70 billions in 1995 and gradually increased until it reached a maximum in 1999, 90 billions. In spite of the fact that local- fixed line fell over 70 billions in 2002 (nearly the same point of start), had the highest rate among three sorts.
As well as this, national and international- fixed line, in addition, mobiles had similar pattern. The former began with approximately 38 billions in 1995 and then increased at a steady rate, finishing the period over 60 billions. Mobiles from 1995 to 1999 (3 to 13 billions) experienced a slight additive trend, whereas between 1999-2002 (13- 45 billions) minutes rose sharply.
