The pie charts below shows units of electricity production by fuel sources in Australia and France in 1980 and 2000
The pie charts elucidate the number of units which were generated by five fuel sources in Australia and France for the year 1980 and 2000.
Overall, between these years , electricity production in both the counties had risen. amongst them, years in Australia whereas Nuclear power became the most predominant source in France.
First of all, in the year 1980, Australia produced 100 units electricity where half of it did by coal which was the highest and the least one was Oil which generates 10 units. Moreover, Hydro power and Natural resources generated same units of electricity for each 20 units respectively. After the 2 decades, usage of coal augmented drastically and it produced 130 units electricity . Where Natural source risen with 16 units and others were negligible among 170 units in the year 2000.
Secondly, two same figures showed in France electricity production with 25 units for Natural source and Coal. Also, Oil and Nuclear power used for electricity generation where the former one produced 20 units and the latter ones 15 units. However, in the year 2000, Nuclear power became the highest source for production with the figures of 126 units . Furthermore, Oil generate 5 units more than past whereas coals units remain same for electricity production.
