Your office building doesn't have parking available.
Write a letter to the manager.
In your letter:
Explain the problem
Suggest a solution
Say why parking will benefit all employees
Dear Mr. James,
I am writing this letter regarding the lack of parking space that we employees are suffering from. My name is John Smith, the head of sales department and I have been working in this position for over a year, and unfortunately, I have had problems in finding parking space near the office every morning ever since I got hired.
To begin with, you are aware of the fact that our building is located in a crowded area of the city, which makes it difficult for the employees to get to work on time. I, for one, leave home so early in the morning in order not to get stuck in traffic; however, the lack of parking lots in the neighborhood has caused a major problem for me and my coworkers in the past few months.
To resolve the matter, I have come up with some ideas and I would like to share them with you. Firstly, it would be an amazing idea if the staff work from home by the laptops based on a schedule. This could not only prevent them from commuting long distances every single day, but help the company as you need to provide breakfast and launch for all the workers. Secondly, providing car services for the staff would be another great solution.
The fact is had we had a parking lot, we would definitely be able to serve better with more energy and positivity, from the first hours of the work time until the afternoon. Besides, we would not have to walk a long distance to our cars, parked ten blocks from The Office.
Thank you for your consideration in advance can I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
James Smith
