Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant
A glance at the charts provided reveals the percentage of air pollution caused by electricity generation, transport, and industry in specific countries in 2021, namely China, America, Japan, and Australia.
Overall, it is clear that there are variations in the levels of air pollution among the four nations and China occupied the greatest proportion of air containing high levels of pollutants in almost all sections.
In detail, the main source that leads to air pollution in China is industry, at 80 ppm, being 10 ppm higher than the figure for transport, which is the second-highest among the four countries, and having the highest rate of pollutants in the air generated by electricity, at exactly 60 ppm. Americans pay more attention to transport than the other activity, being the most noticeable ratio in America, at 60 ppm, nearly double that of transport and electricity generation, at 30 ppm for both, with the figure for transportation being half of that of China. In marked contrast to China, the proportions of Australia are almost the same, at around 20 ppm, accounting by far the lowest levels of air pollution compared to the others, with the transport rate being at nearly one-third that of America and the statistic for the industry is twice as low as that of Japan. Japan witnesses a similar trend with China, with the industry being the primary source of contamination, followed by the amount of air pollution caused by shipping and generating electricity, at 30 ppm and 15 ppm respectively.
