You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Dear John,
It was great to receive your letter.
Time flies so fast. It has been for a long time since the day we knew each other at the high school. I am glad that we still keep in touch sometimes like this.
As mentioned in your letter, I can sympathize what you are concerning. After consideration, I think going to college is not an option for you. According to my experience, four years of colleges is only for people who do not know what they should do in the future. In terms of your case, you are an ambitious and independent person, you already have a noble dream of becoming an entrepreneur in real estate to pursue. Therefore, I think it's time for you to embark on your dream as soon as possible rather than spending more time on colleges.
Apparently, getting a job is the best choice now. First, running a business is not easy, it requires a lot of skills. Thus you need to accumulate more experience from the market to start your own business. In addition, I think a job in the housing market would be a good idea for you to figure out if it is the one you would like to do your business later rather than studying in a college.
From my humble knowledge, there are some job titles you might be interested in such as a broker, or a digital marketer. These jobs require necessary skills to start your own company and help you sharpen your skills.
I hope this suggestion can help you somehow.
If you need more information or need to grab a cup of coffee to discuss more, please don't hesitate to tell me.
Best regards,
Mira
