Overall, the resort witnessed radical changes with the most noticeable being the replacement of plants and individual houses for modern constructions.
In 1990, the seaside resort consisted mostly of trees and individual houses with a hospital in the north east, a school was to the left of the hospital, and a railway station. In the north west of the resort, there was a big house which was in front of a lake.
Over the next fifteen years, many houses were relocated to make way for a supermarket and buildings in the north west. In fact, most of the trees in the north east were cut down and replaced by a factory. In close proximity to the school, an airport was bulit. In the south of the railway station, a ferry was constructed, situated on the main road.
