Concerning Passenger vehicles’ number, it was the dominant category in 3 recorded years with the beginning data of 11.800.00 registrations to 12.700.000 in 2012 and reaching its peak of 13.000.000 in 2014. Commercial vehicles were the second-highest contribution to the registrations of 2010 at 2.300.000, experiencing a 17.4% surge to 2.700.000 after hovering at 2.600.000 registrations. The third-place belonged to the figure for motorcycles ( at 540.000), which then recorded a 30.8% growth to 709.000 in 2014.
Regarding the number of Heavy trucks and Light trucks registered, they were the least used vehicles in the 3 surveyed years. 384.000 heavy trucks are registered in 2010, followed by the figure for light trucks at over 100.000. 2 years later, both registrations went up to 390.000 and 124.000 respectively. At the end of the period, they were 8.3% and 23.5 % higher than that of the beginning data.
