The comparison in four different online sales sectors in New Zealand throughout 11 years since 2003 is displayed by the bar charts, shown in percentage.
Overall, the main fact which is obviously observed is that the selling of books and entertainment media (music and film) were increasingly popular, while the buying of two counterparts experienced a decrease.
As per data, in the initial year, travel was the most profitable sector accounted for more than three-fifths of online purchase, followed by clothes and audio-and-visual one at 24% and 21% respectively. Meanwhile, the good being the least to be bought was the books mostly at one-fifth.
Furthermore, journey sector, a decade later, witnessed a gradual decline of its sales by 7%. As well as the former, the figure for clothing products also plummeted at less than two in ten. This contrasted with two those, the electronically selling rate of reading books significantly inclined at 22%, and the entertainment one stood out to be the maximum data recorded, at 33%.
