Mrs Barret, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.
Write a letter to Mrs Barret. In your letter
1. suggest how could you help her in her home
2. say why you would like to do this work
3. explain when you will and will not be available
I hope you are doing well. Recently I came across an advertisement in local newspaper that you will require someone to help with your daily chores next year over the summer. I would like to support you in this.
You need not to worry about your garden, as I can take good care of you plants as I have beed doing this at my home as well. I am capable of doing things to keep garden clean and tidy for instance chopping of bushes, trimming grass, removing weeds from plants. Adding to this, I could help you in kitchen with dishes. However if you require any assistance in dusting and vaccuming, you have my helping hand.
So students have ample amount of time during summers to gain new experiences and knowlegde of mutiple things except from books. I feel assisting you at your residence will help me in handling things indpendentaly. This will be helpful to boost my confidence as well as social skills . Cherry on top of all this will be, I can earn some extra pocket money which I can utilize to lease a car.
As I have taken extra courses, I will be available for two hours in morning from 8 am to 10 am. In evening, I could be at your place from 5 pm to 7 pm. During day time I have one shift at grocery store, so I am unvailable during that time.
I hope you will consider my name. I would be looking forward to get a revert from you.
Thanks and Regard
