In 2005, as many as 40 units of Hamburgers were consumed by people in Melbourne, slightly decreasing to about 38 units in present days and it is predicted that the figure will rise to about 51 units in 2025. Friend chicken consumption, however, did not experience a downward trend. It was commenced at 35 units in the first reported year, rising by 2 units at present, and will reach 45 units in the following four years. Although the salad (5 units) was the least favorite fast food in Melbourne in 2005, the figure of the salad consumed then thrice in present days and will peak at 41 units in 2025.
In addition, the number of units of fried rice and noodles eaten in 2005 was similar (6 units each). In today's world, the number of units of fried rice and noodle eaten was 9 and 8 units respectively.
