Your car is hired from a company and while you are driving on holiday, you have a small accident. You will have to write a report to the company to explain it.
In your letter:
when and where you hired it
describe how the accident happened
what kind of action did you take after the accident
I am writing this letter to inform you about an accident that took place last night. I had rented a car, Honda City, from your company's showroom located at F-7 sector of Islamabad. I had rented the car on 25th of this month for the period of 10 days.
I had hired the car for a family visit to north of Pakistan, I was having a very smooth and flawless experience with your car. However, unfortunately, I have encountered a small accident when I was driving back to the hotel. Actually, I was waiting at the red traffic signal when a car approaching me at the higher speed hit my car from behind. As the car slowed down a little before hitting so it has not damaged a lot. The bumper has a dent and a piece of back light in also partially broken.
After the incident, I was able to get the required support from the police department as they reached at the spot with in few minutes. Police has given me an accident report mentioning that it was the mistake of other party so he will be making arrangements for the repair. The driver, who was driving the other car has also agreed to pay for all the expenses. I am attaching police report with this letter for your reference. Kindly arrange a replacement car for me as this car is not fit for further travel.
Your faithfully,
Bilal Ahmed
