The chart below shows the results of a survey of people who visited four types of tourist attraction in Britain in 1999
The pie chart illustrates the percentage of individuals who visit four different popular travel destination in Britain in 1999 while the tables give information for the details of the proportion of travelers going to five areas in Theme Park.
Overall, Theme parks attracted the highest people while the least was seen in Wildlife Parks and Zoo, moreover, Blackpool Pleasure Beach dominated other places in Theme Park.
Starting with the pie chart. 38% was the percentage of visitor in Theme Parks, which was the highest and that for Museums and Galleries was nearly equal with 37%. Furthermore, while there was 16% of people going to Historic Houses and Monuments, the least figure was seen in Wildlife Parks and Zoo with 9%.
Moving to the table, it is evident that Blackpool Pleasure Beach was the most attractive places with 47%. In the meantime, the percentage for those who visit Alton Towers and Pleasureland, Southport and the others were almost equally represented at 16% and 10%, respectively.
