You recently flew with an airline and had a problem with the food on the plane. Write a letter to the company.
In your letter
give the details of the flight
explain what the problem with the food was
say what the airline should do about it.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in connection to a terrible experience on your plane recently. The flight I took was from Toronto to Beijing departing at 8:00am, 25th February, Flight Number CD2832. And my ticket confirmation number is WJL0821.
There were several meals served on this flight and the chicken noodles served at dinner time was not fresh. After a few minutes when I finished the noodles, I felt stomach and really uncomfortable. There was no strange smell or taste of the food and that is the reason why I could not tell it was not fresh until I finished them all. I had to stay in the restroom for quite a while before I felt a bit better.
I have been taking your company’s flights for plenty of times and I never had any issues with the food before, therefore I am really unsatisfied with this experience. I think you should contact the department that handles the meals on planes and let them be aware of this problem, so that they will check the food more carefully in the future and similar cases should be avoided. In addition, I want to see if you can provide me some credits that I can use to reserve tickets in the future as compensation for this matter.
I look forward to your response about this.
Yours sincerely,
Jerry Wang
