The chart below shows the number of the Internet users in three different countries and the world average between 1998 and 2013
The bar graph compares the number of Internet users in Greece, Canada, Denmark, and worldwide on average over 15 years starting in 1998.
On the whole, looking at the graph, it is immediately apparent that an upward trend has been observed in the number of Internet users in all countries and the global average. It is also notable that during the period shown with the exception of 1998, Denmark recorded the highest figure.
In 1998, nearly 26,000 people in Canada accessed the internet. Which makes them the group with the highest rate of users for the period. Meanwhile, that number for Danish was relatively smaller at roughly 22,000. Surged both numbers in 2003, yet Denmark overtook the dominant figure of Canada to have the largest number of Internet users until the end of the period, reaching 95,000 people as compared to 88,000 in Canada.
Greece had the lowest number of Internet users, at only 3 thousand in 1988, However, the figure for Greek progressed gradually to reach 63,000 in 2013, which left that number of the word average behind with only 35,000.
