Overall, the amount of money spent on books was the only product has a slight reduction after four years compared to other necessities while food and smartphones expenses were increased over the year.
in 2010, the food accounts for over 3500 million $ which was the highest among other items. Whereas, the spending was increased to just below 4500 million $ in 2014. In contrast to smartphone which was 2000 million $ at the beginning and they climbed to above 2500 million $ in 2014.
In terms of children, clothes remained the same expense in both years with 2500 million $. Similarly, the amount for toiletries also has some improvements with approximately 1900 million $ in 2010 and 2000 million $ in 2014. Moreover, the spending on books was reduced to a mere 500 million $ by 2014 from 1000 million $ in 2010.
