The maps below show changes to the ground floor plan of a university department in 2000 and 2015
Given are the two maps depicting the striking difference in the outlook of a ground floor in a university department during a 15-year phase, commencing from 2000.
Perceptibly, the dramatic change took most in the northern part with the appearance of some buildings and the removal of trees.
In 2000, the school area with trees to its east was located opposite a fork on the main road running through the area from southeast to west. There was a corridor connecting with the main entrance and dividing the university into two main parts in which two seminar rooms were placed on the left and on the right there was an office and a library next to another seminar room.
15 years later, a new car park was in existence to the east of the main entrance. When it comes to the university part, two new seminar rooms were constructed on each side of the corridor along with the extension in size of the office toward the library. Therefore, plants were removed to give space for a new building in which the IT center and the bigger library were connected by a small corridor.
