Overall, all the examined areas are commonly predicted to worsen, with the exception of people communication.
65% of young European individuals expect people communication to improve in the next 20 years, compared to only 35% who think that it will get worse. By stark contrast, nearly 80% of surveyed people are of the opinion that air quality will become worse over the next two decades, making this area the most likely to worsen according to European youngsters.
The percentages of young Europeans who predict health and water quality to worsen are quite similar, with the figures being 58% and 60%, respectively. While around 48% of asked individuals expect food quality to get better, a slightly higher percentage of them (approximately 52%) think that it will get worse within the next 20 years.
