Overall, it is obvious that the percentage of men mainly took part in football, basketball, and hockey, while cycling and swimming were common among women. In addition, the figure for men who played football was the highest throughout the period.
50% of the males in the survey were often more into playing football, compared to only 16% of the females asked. Similarly, the proportion of men participated in basketball far exceeded that of their counterparts, with respective figures being around 35% and over 10% in 2015. At the same time, the rate of males playing hockey was over 10%, which was significantly higher than that of females, at only 0.5%.
In contrast, the choice of women in swimming was about 35%, and the figure for men was lower, at exactly 20%. As for cycling, approximately 40% of females enjoyed this activity, while north of 35% of males did so.
