The given three pie charts depicts the average proportions of sodium, saturated fat, and the added sugar in everyday meals which each of those nutrients might be unhealthy if used excessively. Overall, it can be seen that Americans consume both sodium and saturated fat the most in dinner while they eat more snacks that contain the highest level of sugar.
To begin with, people in USA have most sodium in dinner at 43%, followed by, 29% of it is in lunch. Breakfast and snacks have the same percentage of sodium in at 14%. Likewise, Americans eat the most food which contains 37% of saturated fat in dinner whereas the less consumption of saturated far is in the breakfast at 16%. Lunch and snacks that are eaten by individuals there contain approximately similar percentage of saturated fat at 26% and 21%, respectively.
In contrast, 42% of the added sugar in USA is most consumed in snacks. Dinner comes second where American people eat added sugar at 33%. Finally, 16% and 19% of the sugar is exist in USA lunch and breakfast meals.
