The two pie charts give information about the percentage of the five main transport to the university the year 2004 and 2009.
Overall, bus and car users take up the largest propotion in 2004 and 2009. In addition, the figures for travelling by bicycle, train and walking slightly increased over the given period.
In 2004, 51% of people went to the university by car; however, this number significantly dropped to 28% in 2009. In contrast, there was a sharp increase of the bus users over the period from 33% to 46%.
The percentage of bicycle users in 2004 was 9%, and this propotion steadily rose to 16% in 2009. Likewise, the propotion of people travelling by train and walking to the university saw a gradual increase from 2004 to 2009. While in 2004, 4% of people walking and 3% of people travelling by train to the university as their main methods of transport, but these propotion went up in 2009, to 6% and 4% respectively.
