The bar chart gives information about the frequency of citizens in the USA who ate meals in junk food restaurants from 2003 to 2013.
It is clearly seen that most American people went to fast-food eateries once a week and once or twice a month over the period of 10 years. Meanwhile, people who consume this type of food every day have the least percentage.
Between 2003 and 2006, the proportion of people who had meals as fast food once a week rose slightly to around 33 %, but it declined to more than 25 % in 2013. American fast food consumption rate once or twice a month decreased by 5 percent in the first three years before going up to 33 percent in 2013.
In contrast, the proportion of American citizens who went to fast-food restaurants several times a week fluctuated between 16 percent and 20 percent over 10 year period, it was higher than the figure for those eating this food a few times a year. Daily eaters and those who had never consumed junk food only had a small percentage, ranging from 3 % to 5 %.
