The diagram illustrates the process that is used to manufacture bricks for the building industry.
The diagram presents the method of production of bricks for the construction industry
It is clear that there are 7 distinct stages in the whole brick-producing process, beginning with digging in clay, and ending with the delivery of bricks to customers.
At the first stage, the clay is dug up by a huge digger. Then, to get rid of large unwanted pieces of clay, clay is placed on a metal grid so that the small pieces drop onto the roller. After that, sand and water are added to the small pieces of clay and this will help bricks to get in shape by the wire cutter or the mould.
When the bricks are shaped, they move to a drying oven for 24 to 48 hours to dry. The next stage is that bricks are fired in a kiln at a moderate temperature from 200c to 980c. Afterwards they continue to be heated at a higher temperature from 870c to 1300c. Subsequently, the bricks are put in a cooling chamber for 48hrs to 72hrs, then they go through the packaging process. Finally, after all these stages the bricks are being delivered to the construction sector.
